John Ho has served as Landsea Homes’ Chief Executive Officer and Director since 2013. Prior to forming Landsea Homes, Ho spent 10 years in real estate investment and development working at global real estate investment management and consulting firms Colliers International and Jones Lang LaSalle (“JLL”). He served as Director of JLL from 2011 to 2013, and Vice President at JLL from 2008 to 2011. During that time, he led the firm in international business development, focused on delivering transactional, consultancy and other integrated real estate services to businesses investing overseas. Ho received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Willy Nunn has served as President of Homes by WestBay, LLC since the company was founded in 2009. The company has become a top four builder in Tampa and is the largest builder based in Tampa. WestBay’s 2021 revenues totaled $440 million on deliveries of 932 homes in Hillsborough, Pasco, Manatee, and Polk Counties. Since its inception in the aftermath of the Great Recession, WestBay has typically achieved the highest average price of all high volume builders while maintaining a 4-5% market share. The company’s approximately 160 team members deliver luxury and personalization at an undeniable value relative to the competition.

WestBay’s launched Casa Fresca Homes in 2019 with a mission to empower homeownership through smart, stylish, yet attainable homes. Of the total WestBay 2021 closings, Casa Fresca accounted for 202 and is expected to grow rapidly.

Prior to WestBay, Willy held senior positions with Centex Homes and Taylor Woodrow. Willy worked for Bank of America for over ten years in various markets as a senior real estate banker and is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Matt joined The New Home Company as President and Chief Executive Officer in September 2021. In his position, Matt oversees the operations of NEW HOME both at the corporate level, and at its divisions located throughout the western United States. He is responsible for creating and implementing the strategic direction of the company, land acquisition and overall management of homebuilding operations.

Prior to leading NEW HOME, Matt held several executive positions at William Lyon Homes. He was promoted to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer in March of 2016, and then in August of 2016, he was appointed by the Board of Directors of the Company to serve as a member of the Board and served in that capacity until William Lyon Homes was acquired in 2020.

Matt has extensive capital markets and M&A experience including the acquisition of four private homebuilding platforms and the sale of William Lyon Homes to Taylor Morrison Home Corporation in February of 2020 creating the nation’s fifth largest homebuilder. Most recently Matt served as an advisor to Apollo Global Management in its acquisition of The New Home Company.

Matt currently serves on the Board of Trustees for American Homes 4 Rent (NYSE: AMH) a leading Single Family Rental REIT, where he serves as a member of the Audit Committee and Human Capital and Compensation Committee. He is a member of the Executive Committee for the University of Southern California’s Lusk Center for Real Estate. Matt holds a B.S. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.

Mr. Edwards is our President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman and has held these positions since 2011, 2004 and 1999, respectively. Mr. Edwards’ position allows him to advise the Board on management’s perspective over a full range of issues affecting the Company. Prior to joining us, Mr. Edwards acted as an officer and strategist for several companies that he and his family started, acquired or invested in over more than 40 years across a variety of industries, including multi-family and student housing development and management, industrial tool distribution, wholesale building supply, homebuilding, land and real estate development and real estate brokerage. Since 1988, Mr. Edwards has been involved in the launch of many business ventures as well as commercial real estate developments in central Ohio and elsewhere. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from Miami University

As only the third president in the history of Lansing Building Products, Hunter represents the strong dedication of the company to thoughtful family leadership. Grandson of Ted Lansing and son of Chris Lansing, he has literally grown up in the business. Hunter began his career with Lansing at the Charlotte branch, gaining knowledge about the inner workings of the company as well as invaluable skills and experience. He then focused on the brand, messaging, and communication as Vice President of Marketing before being named President in 2016.

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Hunter sees the company as similar to a sports team. There’s the team, certainly, but making up that team are individuals. Those individuals each have a specific and very important role. Success requires each and every member of that team to perform at his or her peak. It’s the talent, hope, and aspiration of each individual that make the team victorious.

James Dwiggins is the chief executive officer of NextHome, Inc. He’s third-generation in real estate—his grandmother and grandfather, father and mother all in the business. James brings to the table a sharp, innovative, and forward-focused vision. He’s been in the real estate franchise business since 2006, originally joining Realty World Northern California & Nevada as director of technology and strategy, where he was promoted to vice president five years later. In May 2014, he cofounded NextHome (with Tei Baishiki) and ran both brands until 2020, when Realty World International acquired the region back. In January 2015, James (and Tei) launched NextHome as an independent national real estate franchise.

Prior to joining Realty World, James cofounded—also with Tei, a decades-proven partnership—VREO, Inc. developer of groundbreaking enterprise-level internet applications for agents and brokers. VREO pioneered biometric signature software for paperless transactions and garnered numerous industry accolades, including the coveted Inman Innovator Award for its breakthrough technologies. Previously, James cofounded USA Virtual Tours, which he helped to grow nationally until its acquisition in 2001.

James speaks regularly and is a frequent media expert on real estate and other cross-industry franchise and technology advancements. He has been featured as a RISMedia Newsmaker and on the Swanepoel Power 200 list. Franchise Business Review recognized him as the leader of the number-one real estate franchise (and number-one across industries) in owner satisfaction for three years in a row. James is host of the Real Estate Insiders Unfiltered Podcast.

Originally from San Luis Obispo, James grew up playing soccer and went on to join the California state championship team. He studied business and criminal law at Cuesta College. Today, he loves riding horses and racing cars—he met Tei, who he went on to work with for over 20 years, drag racing on a Friday night when they were both teenagers. NextHome is their third company together.

James Howley brings more than a decade of institutional real estate and financial experience. Prior to joining Quinn, he served as a Director of Strategic Planning and Investments for QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS), where he supported QTS’ corporate and strategic finance function including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, capital markets, investor relations and strategic initiatives. Prior to QTS, he was a Senior Investment Analyst at Real Estate Management Services Group, where he was responsible for originating and underwriting investments in publicly traded real estate, with a focus on the residential and hospitality spaces, among others. Mr. Howley leverages his extensive financial and real estate experience to streamline processes and execute on the momentum of Quinn’s rapidly growing portfolio.

Mr. Cohen joined Resmark in 2001. With more than 30 years of real estate experience, he has been involved in the financing and development of over 70,000 residential units in the United States and Israel. Mr. Cohen’s responsibilities include overseeing all of Resmark’s investment, underwriting and asset management activities. Under his leadership since 2011, Resmark’s multifamily division has acquired and developed over 5,900 units through joint venture and direct investments. Previously, Mr. Cohen established the firm’s Northern California division in 2003 and successfully expanded its Northern California operations. His responsibilities included evaluating and formulating strategy for the acquisition of large distressed bank portfolios. In late 2007, he also led Resmark’s emergence as a key player in the area of direct investments in land portfolios.

Prior to joining Resmark, Mr. Cohen was a member of Fieldstone Communities’ management team, where he was responsible for land acquisition and entitlements, product design, construction management, and sales and marketing operations for multiple projects. Before arriving in the United States, he served as an operations manager for Peled Residential Construction, overseeing the day to day development of several master planned communities in Southern Israel, and prior to that as an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces.

Mr. Cohen sits on the National Association of Home Builders Multifamily Leadership Board. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tel Aviv University, and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
